NewStart Registered Dietitians
Our staff dietitians will educate patients and explain their dietary restrictions at no additional charge through out their weight loss journey. Patients are provided follow-up care to answer questions about the diet that is outlined for the patient in the dietary guide. Should a patient have questions after being discharged, our dietitians are available by phone or appointment at 1-800-245-1431.

Rodney Robinson, M.A. CCGC, Support Group Staff
Mr. Rodney Robinson, M.A. CCGC, has been a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Missouri since 1980. Rodney has facilitated a monthly NewStart support group for 6+ years. Individual counseling is also available by appointment.
Francesca Ferrentelli, Ph D, LPC
Dr. Ferrentelli has facilitated a weekly support group with an emphasis on issues related to personal growth for the NewStart patients for 6+ years. She also facilitates a twice monthly group for the Laparoscopic Banding patients that have had surgery through the NewStart program. Dr. Ferrentelli as well provides education topics through out the year.
Dr. Ferrentelli has worked in the field of eating disorders extensively since 1992.
NewStart Service Representatives
The staff will assist you in providing information about the St. Alexius NewStart procedures, as well as assist in verification of insurance information, collection of medical information, attendance at educational seminars, scheduling appointments for preoperative consultations and the scheduling of your surgery.
